About British Airways
British Airways operates complex engineering, planning and operational support functions from its Glasgow facilities.
With teams working across aircraft maintenance, logistics and technical operations, the organisation required private, sound controlled spaces that could be placed directly within busy open work areas.
These spaces needed to support confidential conversations, focused individual work and small team meetings without the need for constructing new rooms.
My Office Pod partnered with British Airways to supply and install a combination of Hush Office phone booths and Framery Four meeting pods, selected for their strong acoustic performance, build quality and ability to integrate seamlessly into demanding industrial and office environments.
The Solution
The Hush Office phone booths provide individual quiet spaces for focused tasks, calls and virtual meetings. The images supplied show booths with a soft grey interior, clean black framing and integrated work surfaces suited to fast paced operational settings. These pods offer effective sound control, internal ventilation and comfortable working positions, allowing staff to step away from noise sensitive hangar areas for uninterrupted concentration.
The Framery Four meeting pods deliver a larger enclosed space designed for small group collaboration. The units shown feature a stylish black frame, contrasting red acoustic wall panels and grey upholstered seating. The integrated meeting table, dimmable lighting and smart acoustic construction make these pods ideal for briefings, engineering discussions and sensitive conversations that cannot take place on the open floor.
Both pod types were installed within active work zones, including hangar environments and office areas. Our team handled delivery, assembly and positioning to ensure the pods operated correctly from day one, including ventilation performance checks, power integration and final visual alignment.
