For its London workplace, Cloud Margin selected My Office Pod to supply and install Koplus Kolo Solo Office Phone Booths to introduce an additional private space for calls, video meetings and focused individual work within the open-plan office.
Creating Privacy Within an Open-Plan Office
Open-plan offices provide flexibility and support collaboration, but they can also make it more difficult to find a quiet space for confidential calls, online meetings or concentrated work.
The Kolo Solo provides Cloud Margin with a dedicated one-person acoustic booth without requiring the construction of a permanent meeting room. Positioned alongside the existing workspace, the booths creates an easily accessible private environment while maintaining the open character of the office.
The Kolo Solo Office Phone Booth
Manufactured by Koplus, the Kolo Solo is a compact acoustic office phone booth designed for individual calls, virtual meetings and focused tasks.
For the Cloud Margin project, the booths were supplied with a white exterior and grey interior. The neutral finish complements the lighter surfaces, exposed architectural structure and darker flooring throughout the London office.
Its glazed door maintains a visual connection with the surrounding workplace while creating a clearly defined individual space away from the activity of the main office.
Supporting Focused and Flexible Working
Introducing an office phone booth gives employees somewhere to move to when a task requires greater privacy or concentration.
Rather than occupying a larger meeting room for a one-person call, employees can use the Kolo Solo for shorter conversations, video meetings or periods of focused work. This helps larger collaborative spaces remain available for the teams and meetings they were designed to accommodate.
