The Challenge

In an environment where sound, rehearsal and instruction intermingle, Guildhall needed to address:

• Noise bleed and interruptions during meetings or coaching sessions
• Maintaining visual openness, light flow, and architectural harmony in a heritage / performance building
• Flexibility so pods can adapt to changing space use
• Minimising installation disruption in a building used for performance and teaching

Our Solution

We designed and installed meeting pods at strategic points across Guildhall’s facility. Key features included:

• High acoustic partitioning to reduce ambient noise and protect privacy
• Glass and transparent elements to preserve sightlines and daylight
• Design finishes sympathetic to the existing interior and performance environment
• Compact footprints so as not to impede movement or compromise rehearsal space
• Modular installation with minimal disturbance to the school’s daily schedule

The pods deliver effective semi‑private zones suitable for meetings, feedback sessions, administrative work or quiet coaching—all while feeling integrated into the wider building fabric.
