The Penelope Access Pod has been carefully crafted to meet the functional and aesthetic demands of modern workspaces. With its 1800 x 1800mm footprint and 2200mm height, it provides ample space for up to four users, and effective ventilation ensures it is fully compliant with accessibility standards, making it ideal for inclusive use.
Internally, the meeting pods use sound absorbing foam along with polyurethane acoustic foam, carpeted floors, and 10mm toughened glass to create a quiet zone capable of reducing external noise by up to 32dB. This makes it well-suited for meetings, phone calls, or deep-focus work.
Externally, the outer design of the pod is built from FSC® certified timber and durable laminates, featuring gentle curves with black steel glass fixings ensuring both strength and modern appeal. Optional motion-activated LED light strips offer brightness that is both comfortable and eco-conscious. Users can switch from cool to warm white for a tranquil space depending on preference, and energy-saving PIR sensors help reduce environmental impact.

Air quality within the Penelope Access Pod is ensured through a high-performance axial in-line fan system with low noise output and impressive airflow. These fans operate quietly at 38dB, with an airflow rate of 100 m³/h, maintaining a fresh atmosphere during extended use.
The interior layout can be customised with accessories such as desks, seating, and even TV brackets, including adaptable lighting option . Multiple power unit options, including sockets with USB-A and USB-C outlets, can be integrated at desk level, under desks, or within panel surfaces, giving users complete flexibility.
Customisation continues with a vast selection of finishes and optional extras—from scratch-resistant laminates to cosy materials and premium fabric bands.
